ICP XML - TAKING CARD PAYMENTS ON YOUR WEBSITE / VIA A SOFTWARE APPLICATION

It is becoming more important in todays retail market to have an eCommerce site and to be able to process card payments via your own website. The XML gateway allows you to maintain the look and feel of your own website and have secure card processing seamlessly integrated into your website. The XML gateway - like all other EFT-POS solutions utilises your existing Merchant Agreement with your chosen bank.

XML GATEWAY INTERFACE

Using industry standard XML the gateway interface enables you to populate an XML schema with details concerning the card transaction. This is then securely submitted from your web server to the payment servers that return the result of the authorisation to your web application. Payment results are typically returned in 6 seconds. Integration can be carried out from Windows or Linux based servers or any other web servers for that matter. The XML gateway is run as a web service and can be interfaced to using Windows .NET, Web Proxy, Secure HTTP POST and SOAP. As well as integration into web sites and servers the XML interface can be used by any application that can communicate with web services using the methods described over TCP/IP.

In addition to the standard card authorisation process the XML gateway optionally supports the use of

As the gateway is based on XML this allows for additional features and services to be provided within the same authorisation framework in the future.

In order to use the XML payment gateway for processing credit card debit card payments you you will need to have a UK Merchant Account with one of the major UK card acquirers. You will also require a secure web site to ensure card details are handled securely on the public internet.

ICP PAYPAGE INTERFACE

The paypage interface has reached end-of-life and is no longer offered as a solution. You should look to the XML interface above to fulfil card authorisation requirements now and in the future.
